The MA in Philosophy of Science consists of 120 ECTS credits, of which 90 ECTS credits are required for the major.
The program is structured as follows:
- 3 seminars plus in philosophy of science (8 ECTS credits each)
- 2 colloquia on philosophy of science topics (4 ECTS credits each)
- 2 project papers on philosophy of science topics (6 ECTS credits each)
- Master thesis (30 ECTS credits)
- Electives (16 ECTS credits): Seminars, colloquia, block seminars, maximum of 1 tutorial (6 ECTS credits)
Master's thesis:
The Master's thesis (approx. 25,000 words without bibliography, 30 ECTS) is a more extensive academic paper. It is written in the last semester of the Master's program in Philosophy of Science (Major) and should be presented and discussed in a colloquium.
