The master's minor includes two specialisms: French Linguistics and French Literature. Students select one of these two fields as their special qualification, with the other field being additional. The master's minor provides in-depth and specialized knowledge in both fields. The aims are similar to those of the master's major, with the difference that fewer courses are required and there is no master's thesis. The degree is subject to continuous performance assessments.
