Starting in Spring 2020, the Faculty of Humanities’ Gleichstellungskommission is looking to fund a series of one-off projects or events to help enhance the culture of diversity in our faculty.
In keeping with the UL’s plans to address “diversity” at university- and faculty-level, our Diversity Initiative 20/21 is designed to address diversity in its broadest, most inclusive terms. In this regard, we invite members of the Faculty of Humanities’ student body, junior Mittelbau, senior Mittelbau and professoriate to submit their proposals for innovative, maximum-reach projects or events. These can be funded up to a maximum of CHF 5,000 each, although funding will be determined by the number and quality of proposals received. Projects and events can be scheduled for any time during 2020 or 2021.
The commission will start considering proposals in two rounds during the Spring semester 2020. Please submit your ideas no later than 17:00 on Friday 16 October using the short form (see link) and submitting it to equality@histdek.unibe.ch.
